3 of 5 M&P Shield .357 Sig ported barrel May 18, 2020

I have to give this 3 stars. I finally got the chance to try this and was slightly disappointed. Every time I try to use my slide release, the rounds nosedive into the ramp. I can slingshot rounds into the chamber, but that is strange. I tried 3 different kinds of rounds all with the same result. Now, it's my understanding that .357 sig is supposed to feed better because of the necked down cartridge. So, why the issue? Never had a feed issue in .40 cal. Now, once I realized to slingshot the slide, it runs great. And the porting really helps keep it on target. Maybe extend the ramp and change angles? Just a thought.

Recieved my barrel today. Nicely packaged, oiled and ready to go. Spent the day shooting off and on down at the river. Extended, ported barrel looks cool on the M&P Shield. I like to pocket carry this gun, the extra barrel fit pocket holster just fine. No jams or failure to feed. Just a blast!
