Remsport MFG 38 Super Commander barrel. Match grade upgrade for your current 1911 government pistol. Fully machined in the USA from stainless 416R in our facility. Barrel will fit slides with 9mm breech face.

I was surprised to see a .38 Super barrel marked 9x19!
While I understand that production simplicity demands you use the same barrel blanks (no issues with that, just use a different chamber reamer, right?) I was NOT happy to see the markings on my barrel. I am not comfortable putting a mis-marked barrel into my pistols, and I'm considering returning the products listed on my invoice.

I recently decided to fit a .38 Super barrel to a 1911 I had previously built in 9mm. I had to decide whether or not to buy the barrel from the co., where I bought the 1911 parts, or save 60+ $$, buying a Remsport. I've read that some top 1911 builders use Remsport parts, so I did too.  Much to my surprise, the Remsport barrel is obviously the same barrel that the upper echelon 1911 company sells/uses! The only way to  tell the difference in the 9mm barrel from this co., and the Remsport barrel, is to look at the case mouth head spacing rim in the barrel chamber, (and stamping). Obviously this co. uses at least some Remsport barrels.
Yes it took some fitting as a match grade barrel should. But , it is the tightest barrel to slide lockup of all of my 1911s! I haven't shot it for accuracy yet, but I am expecting great performance based on the obvious super, (pun unintended), quality of this .38 Super barrel, and the incredible fit.
I 'will' be back for more from Remsport!
