Just got back from trying out the new 9mm barrel and magazine. No fitting or fooling required, all I did was put fresh oil and swab out the barrel. I put 100 rounds of plain jane hardball ammo through my S&W Shield and the weapons fired just fine with no jamming or other mishaps. I use the Shield as my carry piece and completely trust it with hardball. I will be putting HP, FN and more exotic ammo through the piece for my own peace of mind before I carry with that ammo. I am very happy with my purchase!
